Drysuit
This continuing education course provides the use of dry suits and how to become familiar and comfortable with their thermal protection options, controls, and buoyancy characteristics. Graduates are considered competent to engage in open water diving activities, while using a drysuit, without supervision, provided the diving environment, activities, areas dived, and equipment approximate those of training.
Prerequisites:
- Age 15 and older
- Advanced Open Water Diver Certification
Required Gear:
- Basic Drysuit Gear to include Dive Computer
- Proper thermal protection including dive hood
Please NOTE - This course requires additional travel expenses. Dive Georgia will provide all cylinders, park entries, instructor fees, and air fills.
You are responsible for transportation, lodging, and meals.
You must be on site Sunday AM, so we highly recommend arriving Saturday afternoon.
